OUR WORK

We work alongside Cambodian communities to create practical, lasting change — with a focus on education, housing and local support.

Our projects aim to make everyday life better. Not just for today, but for the future.

Education in Veal Village

In a rural village near Siem Reap, we’ve helped establish a small but thriving school, giving children the chance to learn, play and grow close to home.

Today, around 100 children attend daily, learning English and basic computer skills.

We employ two local teachers to lead classes and guide their learning journey.

Learning resources, teacher salaries and school supplies — including donated laptops — are all funded through generous support.

Since 2022, we’ve also made the school grounds safer, greener and more welcoming:

  • Renovated the fence and restored the toilet block

  • Installed solar lights, ceiling fans and reliable power

  • Built a water pump for clean water access

  • Painted and repaired the classrooms

  • Planted 70 trees — mango, jackfruit and more — to provide fruit and shade

  • Built a small sports field for football, volleyball and basketball

  • Started a computer class, teaching students digital skills

This school gives kids in Veal Village a real chance to shape their own future, and we’re proud to be part of it.

Rebuilding Homes in Kampong Phluk

On the floating village of Kampong Phluk, nestled on Tonle Sap Lake, families face harsh conditions — especially during the wet season.

Many families live in shelters patched together with scrap wood or tarps.

Thanks to community support, we’ve been able to:

  • Build eight safe, secure homes for families in need

  • Distribute clothing to local children living by the lake

A fully rebuilt home costs around $3,000 AUD — and brings stability, safety, and dignity to families who’ve gone without for too long.
